Connecting to your FrontPage 98  Web at CROS.NET

The first thing you will need to do is to enable "Log On To Network" in your Dialup Networking Connection Properties.

Double Click - My Computer > Dialup Netwoking
RIGHT Click the Connection and choose Properties
Choose Server Types and then place a check mark next to Log on to Network

Some systems may require the "Client For Microsoft Networks" be installed in your Network Settings.

Open Control Panel, Choose Network, click Add

Choose Client
Choose Microsoft, then Client for Microsoft Networks - you may be prompted for your Windows95 CD.

Once you have done this you are ready to connect to your Web Site. Forget about FTP and the Web Publishing Wizard cause now you are going to work on your Web Site LIVE!

Open FrontPage EXPLORER (not the Editor)

File > Open  FrontPage Web

In the Getting Started window, check Open an existing FrontPage Web, then Click More Webs.
Type your Address and Click List Webs.
Double Click on <Root Web>
